Even though most of you mortals know me as Aphprodite's unworthy
husband, I'm much more important than that (I am not unworthy, she is.). Hera, my Mother, obviously didn't think that though, she thought I was too ugly
to impress my father, Zues. So she tossed me off of Mount Olympus and when
I hit the ground my legs broke. That didn't stop me though, shortly later I
was rescued by these amazing Nymphs who took me to Lemnos, where
I built my temple. When I went back to Olympus, Aphrodite had just arrived
and thought that I would be an awesome groom for Aphrodite. We got married,
but she liked Ares better. I bet you can guess where that went.
